1. 视频导入：“may I ...”ask for permisson ,can you say sth to ask for permisson.

2. Jenny ask for permisson, listen and what permission does she ask.

Read and circle the key words.

3. Listen again. Before listening, circle the key words which words are important? How do you know about it?

4. 展示文本，学生齐读。

Using rising tone to show excitement.

When people are really excited, they not only use tones but also use body language. （教师示范）

Is her father interested in the trip? Who can read the sentence to show her father’s interest.

6. Read the conversation and figure out the struture of the text

7. Group work: match the sentence with the functions

Pair work:suppose you are an exchange from America. Your school is planning a study trip. Make a conversation to ask for your host parents’ permission.
